Other Immigration Lawsuits

I looked up some other immigration lawsuits which I have heard mentioned as precedent for an ultimate ruling in Arizona's favor in the federal lawsuit.  I have not analyzed them yet and don't know that any analysis that I could do would be of any value to anyone but here they are:

MUEHLER et al. v. MENA

Estrada v. State of Rhode Island

you can start here for a constitutional theory Kirly.

Section 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

Is that not an invasion going on?

it certainly is an invasion. some are peaceful. but, even the peaceful ones are brought here by the human smugglers which, if not already controlled by the drug cartels, are well on their way (see my post about the shootout 12 miles south of the border where 21 were killed). the cartels force the people into being drug mules (yeah, Gov Brewer was right). and, the smugglers of both drugs and humans are well armed. fully automatic weaspons. i definitely call that an invasion and believe it should be treated as such. no geneva conventions for non-uniformed guerillas. any innocents harmed are a direct result of the criminal invaders.
