I attended a second townhall with my congressional representative, John Shadegg Thursday, August 27, 2009. This was smaller than his townhall of August 8 but it was in a very different area more like my own neighborhood. Shadegg has been working on the laws governing heath insurance for most of his time in the Congress. He knows of what he speaks. I was not in favor of any changes until I heard his suggestions and the reasons why. I suggest you all listen to these videos.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8
Part 9
Part 10
Part 11
Part 12 - notice the very young boy at about 6:30. The crowd was impressed by his ability to stand there and speak in front of them without obvious nervousness. I hope he grows out of his wrongheadedness.
Part 13Part 14
Part 15 - at the very end of this one you can hear me suggesting to Congressman Shadegg that some small sum of money could be saved if Medicare stopped paying for Viagra and Ciallis.
