Stanley Kurtz on Acorns ties to the Financial mess and Obama's ties to Acorn

Here's what I don't understand about the Financial situation. I keep hearing on talk radio and on various television news/opinion shows that retirees have lost money in the market. At first I thought they meant people had lost retirement money but no, they keep saying retirees. And I've heard people talk about their 74 year old mother or their 91 year old grandmother. Well, every financial advisor I've ever had has always said the closer you get to retirement, the lower risk you want to take. So, you'd think these retirees would have transferred their 401k out of the market and into bonds and cash/CDs before they retired. What the heck are retirees doing with their retirement still in the market???

Great McCain ad

This is a great ad!

Alaska Governor's Debate 2006

Listen to Sarah Palin's answers compared to her rivals. It's no wonder she won that election.

Sarah Palin being interviewed by Hugh Hewitt RIGHT NOW!

Listen Live here!

The MP3 is up at HughHewitt.com along with the transcript reprinted here below.

HH: Governor Sarah Palin, welcome to the Hugh Hewitt Show. Great to have you.

SP: Hey, thank you so much. Nice to hear your voice.

HH: Governor, your candidacy has ignited extreme hostility, even some hatred on the left and in some parts of the media. Are you surprised? And what do you
attribute this reaction to?

SP: Oh, I think they’re just not used to someone coming in from the outside saying you know what? It’s time that normal Joe six-pack American is finally represented in the position of vice presidency, and I think that that’s kind of taken some people off guard, and they’re out of sorts, and they’re ticked off about it, but it’s motivation for John McCain and I to work that much harder to make sure that our ticket is victorious, and we put government back on the side of the people of Joe six-pack like me, and we start doing those things that are expected of our government, and we get rid of corruption, and we commit to the reform that is not only desired, but is deserved by Americans.

HH: Now Governor, the Gibson and the Couric interview struck many as sort of pop quizzes designed to embarrass you as opposed to interviews. Do you share that opinion?

SP: Well, I have a degree in journalism also, so it surprises me that so much has changed since I received my education in journalistic ethics all those years ago. But I’m not going to pick a fight with those who buy ink by the barrelful. I’m going to take those shots and those pop quizzes and just say that’s okay, those are good testing grounds. And they can continue on in that mode. That’s good. That makes somebody work even harder. It makes somebody be even clearer and more articulate in their positions. So really I don’t fight it. I invite it.

HH: Have you followed the attacks on you, say, via Drudge or the blogs? Some of them are just made up and out of left field, others are just mocking. Do you follow
those?

SP: No, I sure don’t, and thank God I don’t have time to follow those. You know, I think that those shots, too, though, no matter what we’re taking and receiving, it’s nothing compared to what real shots are against Americans in this world. Americans today who are worried about losing their home and figuring out how in the world they’re going to pay their fuel bill next month, and send their kid to college, and may be worried about losing a loved one that they’re sending off to a war zone to protect our rights. Those are the shots that Americans are taking, so all this political nonsense and the lies, the rhetoric that is spun out there about someone just trying to offer themselves up in the name of service to this great country, I’ll take it.

HH: Governor, you mentioned the people who are struggling right now. Have you and your husband, Todd, ever faced tough economic times where you had to sit around a kitchen table and make tough choices?

SP: Oh my goodness, yes, Hugh. I know what Americans are going through. Todd and I, heck, we’re going through that right now even as we speak, which may put me again kind of on the outs of those Washington elite who don’t like the idea of just an everyday working class American running for such an office. But yeah, there’s been a lot of times that Todd and I have had to figure out how we were going to pay for health insurance. We’ve gone through periods of our life here with paying out of pocket for health coverage until Todd and I both landed a couple of good union jobs. Early on in our marriage, we didn’t have health insurance, and we had to either make the choice of paying out of pocket for catastrophic coverage or just crossing our fingers, hoping that nobody would get hurt, nobody would get sick. So I know what Americans are going through there. And you know, even today, Todd and I are looking at what’s going on in the stock market, the relatively low number of investments that we have, looking at the hit that we’re taking, probably $20,000 dollars last week in his 401K plan that was hit. I’m thinking geez, the rest of America, they’re facing the exact same thing that we are. We understand what the problems are. It’s why I have all the faith in the world that John McCain is the right top of any ticket at this point to get us through these challenges. It’s a good balanced ticket where he’s got the experience, and he’s got the bipartisan approach that it’s going to take to get us through these challenges. And I have the acknowledgement and the experience of going through what America is going through.

HH: Governor, when you say things are tight right now, is that simply because of Todd being off not working? Or is it because of extraordinary demands on the fiscal resources of the Palin family? What’s the situation there?

SP: No, it’s just the great financial crisis that America is in as our savings accounts also, and a 401K, they’re being hit.

HH: Sure.

SP: Our stocks, you know, they took a hit yesterday. And then of course, just the same thing that other Americans are asking themselves today. We’ve got three teenagers. How are we going to pay for their college education? How are we going to make sure that we’re investing wisely today. We’re putting a lot of faith in other people who are using our money as investments. We have to count on the federal government to be overseeing these agencies and entities, making sure that we’re not going to get screwed on this deal, and that our savings are safe. So there again, John McCain’s got some great ideas on granting authority, for instance, to the FDIC, making sure that our deposits are insured. He wants to increase that deposit insurance cap of all of our money, our savings, from $100,000 dollars up to $250,000 dollars, so that families like mine, so that we don’t have to worry about our money being safe or not under FDIC.

HH: Governor, let’s turn to a couple of issues that the MSM’s not going to pick up. You’re pro-life, and how much of the virulent opposition to you on the left do you attribute to your pro-life position, and maybe even to the birth of, your decision, your and Todd’s decision to have Trig?

SP: Yeah, you know, I think that that’s been probably the most hurtful and nonsensical slap that we’ve been taking is our position that we have taken, pro-life, me personally, and saying that you know, even though I knew that 13 weeks along that Trig would be born with Down Syndrome, and I said you know, he’s still going to be a most precious ingredient in this sometimes messed-up world that we live in. I know that my son is going to provide a lot of hope and a lot of promise in this world, and I’m so thankful of course that I’ve had the opportunity to give him life and to bring him into this world. But I think yeah truly, that that’s been a hurtful slap that we have taken, because people just don’t understand. Ironic too, Hugh, that some would consider my position on life and trying to usher in a culture of life, respecting the sanctity of life in America, that that is seen as an extreme position when to me, an extreme position is one that Barack Obama took when he was in the Illinois State Senate, not even supporting a measure that would ban partial birth abortion, not even supporting a measure that would during, after a botched abortion and that baby’s born alive, allowing medical care to cease and allowing that baby to die. That to me is extreme. That’s so far, far left it’s certainly out of the mainstream of America. To me, that is the extreme position, not my position of just wanting that culture of life to be respected, and not wanting government to sanction the idea of ending life.

HH: Do you think the mainstream media and the left understands your religious faith, Governor Palin?

SP: I think that there’s a lot of mocking of my personal faith, and my personal faith is very, very simple. I don’t belong to any church. I do have a strong belief in God, and I believe that I’m a heck of a lot better off putting my life in God’s hands, and saying hey, you know, guide me. What else do we have but guidance that we would seek from a Creator? That’s about as simple as it gets with my faith, and I think that there is a lot of mocking of that. And you know, so bet it, though I do have respect for those who have differing views than I do on faith, on religion. I’m not going to mock them, and I would hope that they would kind of I guess give me the same courtesy through this of not mocking a person’s faith, but maybe perhaps even trying to understand a little bit of it.

HH: Governor, let’s close with some foreign affairs. It is reported that you had an Israeli flag in your governor’s office. You wore an Israeli flag pin occasionally. One, is that true? And two, why your support for Israel?

SP: Well, it is true, and I ran into Shimon Peres recently at a meeting, and he even pointed that out. He said I saw a picture of you on the internet, and you had an Israeli flag in your state government office, and I said I sure do. You know, my heart is with you. And all of those trials and tribulations throughout history that Israel has gone through, not only does that allow me to want to support that country, but Israel is our strongest and most important ally in the Middle East. And they are a democratic country who I believe deserves our support, and I know that John McCain believes as I do that Israel is our friend, and we need to be there to support them. They are there for us, and I do love that country.

HH: Last question, Governor. Have you and Todd heard from your son? And how is it on your nerves having your son deployed?

SP: That little stinker, I guess he’s called his girlfriend a couple of times, but can you believe he hasn’t called his momma yet? He’s over there. They were just leaving Kuwait heading into Iraq, and I am just so extremely proud of Track, my son, and all of the men and women, of course, serving in the military. I’m proud that my son made this independent and very wise decision as such a young man at 18, deciding you know, he realized there’s something he can do to help, to contribute, to help protect our nation, and I couldn’t be more proud of him and all those who choose to serve in our military. They’re serving for the right reasons. God bless them, God love them.

HH: Governor Sarah Palin, look forward to talking to you again, good luck on Thursday night.

SP: Thank you so much. Talk to you soon.

Burning Down The House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis?

Watch this video!

More Lipstick

And you may not believe where I found that picture. They apparently LOVE Sarah!

DC and Hollywood Liptsick

I was listening to my local talk radio this morning only to hear this:

These people are bizarre! They have alot of nerve saying anyone is out of touch!

There are a number of rather amusing political cartoons there as well. My favorite... Time Magazine cover "Obama: Same Lip service ... New Lipstick Though". That man will rue the day he ever used the word lipstick.

Of course, the Feminist React to Palin cartoon is good too. Hypocrits.

An added bonus comes down at the bottom of the page where you can hear the true story of two Americans were were in one of the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001. Part 1 & Part 2.

Regarding the "rescue" of the US Banking Industry

The Democrats have a majority in the Senate.

The Democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives.

If this bill is so important, then why don't the Democrats, who control everything in the Senate and the House (including all Committees) just pass it?

The President will sign the bill.

Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

My theory ... they don't want to pass it. They don't want to "rescue" the US Banking Industry. They got rich off this situation and the last thing they want to do is solve it. (How exactly does one get elected to the House of Representatives with a net worth of $40k and within 2 years have a net worth over $1 million?).

Furthermore, the Democrats are lying about there having been a deal prior to McCains arrival. There was no deal and the House Republicans have stated this repeatedly. And there was no deal because the calls are 100-1 against this bailout!

The Old Lame Stream Media is saying there was a deal. They are again lying!

Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago?

After the previous posting, I found the below in the comment section.

Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago; 221 killed in Iraq.

Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.

Gov. Rod Blogojevich

House leader Mike Madigan

Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)

Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley).....our leadership in Illinois.....all Democrats.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago.

Of course, they're all blaming each other.

Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.

Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look 'em up).

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he's gonna 'fix' Washington politics for us!

Zogby says election will end in an electoral landslide - for McCain Palin!

And when it does, I will say, "I told you so!"

Pollster says election could end in landslide

One of the country's top pollsters was in Rochester on Thursday and suggested that the November presidential election will end in an electoral landslide, even though the candidates are running close."

Essentially the election is at equilibrium," said John Zogby, president of Zogby International. "This election will stay close until the end."

Zogby said he thinks the race will turn in the last weekend before Election Day and though the popular vote will be tight, the successful candidate will win in a landslide. He likened this year's election to the contest in 1980, when Ronald Reagan defeated President Jimmy Carter.

"This may be and probably is the most important election in our lifetime," Zogby said. "I don't say that lightly."

Despite two books by Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, Americans still don't know enough about him. And if they don't think they know him well enough by the time they vote, they'll go with the "comfortable old shoe," Republican Sen. John McCain, Zogby said.

If Obama can convince voters, he'll increase turnout among young people and minorities, Zogby said.

Zogby later added that if the winner doesn't kick off his presidency with a period of reform, he will risk alienating a generation of voters.

The founder of the Utica-based polling firm spoke during a "Business Briefing" at the SUNY Brockport's MetroCenter downtown on St. Paul Street.

Zogby identified five themes among today's voters, from the widely held opinion that the country is headed in the wrong direction — 80 percent of Americans think so, he said — to the resurgence of the "center" of the electorate.

"It is the center that is driving this election," he said. "It is the center that will decide this election."

These voters are looking for a problem-solver, someone who can manage the government competently, he said.

Zogby Poll: McCain Seen as Better Military Commander-in-Chief

From Zogby...

Twice as many likely voters see Republican John McCain as a better commander-in-chief of America's armed forces than Democrat Barack Obama...

The online survey of 2,331 likely voters nationwide, conducted Sept. 19-20, 2008, carries a margin of error of +/- 2.1 percentage points. The same survey showed the Obama-Biden ticket leading McCain-Palin 47%-44% in the straight-up horserace question, with 9% other/not sure.

Obama's 39 "Not Exactly's"

You may notice that I link to Yid with Lid on the right side of this website (he's at the bottom since I have it in alphabetic order). Today, he posted Obama's 39 Not Exactly's. Reprinting here:

1.) Selma March Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google 'Obama Selma' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths.)

2.) Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government.

3.) Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had.

4.) My Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya . It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Obama, is Odinga's follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Check out the following link for verification of that ... and for more. Obama's cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians' homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth. http://www.thestar.com/News/World/article/290390

5.) My Grandmother Has Always Been A Christian - NOT EXACTLY, she does her daily Salat prayers at 5am according to her own interviews. Not to mention, Christianity wouldn't allow her to have been one of 14 wives to 1 man. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1982271/posts

6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro). From .... and for more .... go to ..... http://www.arcadeathome.com/newsboy.phtml?Barack_Hussein_Obama_-_Arab-American,_only_6.25%25_African

7.) I Never Practiced Islam - NOT EXACTLY, you practiced it daily at school, where you were registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 years, until your wife made you change, so you could run for office. 4-3-08 Article 'Obama was 'quite religious in islam'' http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=60559

8.) My School In Indonesia Was Christian - NOT EXACTLY, you were registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for making faces (check your own book). February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.'

9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language.

10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia , I Have More Foreign Experience - NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn't even speak the language. What did you learn except how to study the Koran and watch cartoons.

11.) I Am Stronger On Foreign Affairs - NOT EXACTLY, except for Africa (surprise) and the Middle East (bigger surprise), you have never been anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest allies.

12.) I Blame My Early Drug Use On Ethnic Confusion - NOT EXACTLY, you were quite content in high school to be Barry Obama, no mention of Kenya and no mention of struggle to identify - your classmates said you were just fine

13.)An Ebony Article Moved Me To Run For Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

15.) I Won't Run On A National Ticket In '08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first.

16.) Voting 'Present' is Common In Illinois Senate - NOT EXACTLY, they are common for YOU, but not many others have 130 'PRESENT' VOTES.

17.) Oops, I Misvoted - NOT EXACTLY, only when caught by church groups and Democrats, did you beg to change your misvote.

18.) I Was A Professor Of Law - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.

19.) I Was A Constitutional Lawyer - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.

20.) Without Me, There Would Be No Ethics Bill - NOT EXACTLY,
you didn't write it, introduce it, change it, or create it.

21.) The Ethics Bill Was Hard To Pass - NOT EXACTLY, it took
just 14 days from start to finish.

22.) I Wrote A Tough Nuclear Bill - NOT EXACTLY, your bill was rejected by your own party for its pandering and lack of all regulation - mainly because of your Nuclear donor, Exelon, from which David Axelrod came.

23.) I Have Released My State Records - NOT EXACTLY, as of March, 2008, state bills you sponsored or voted for have yet to be released, exposing all the special interests pork hidden within.

24.) I Took On The Asbestos Altgeld Gardens Mess - NOT EXACTLY, you were part of a large group of people who remedied Altgeld Gardens. You failed to mention anyone else but yourself, in your books.

25.) My Economics Bill Will Help America - NOT EXACTLY, your 111 economic policies were just combined into a proposal which lost 99-0, and even YOU voted against your own bill.

26.) I Have Been A Bold Leader In Illinois - NOT EXACTLY, even your own supporters claim to have not seen BOLD action on your part.

27.) I Passed 26 Of My Own Bills In One Year - NOT EXACTLY, they were not YOUR bills, but rather handed to you, after their creation by a fellow Senator, to assist you in a future bid for higher office.

28.) No One on my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA - NOT EXACTLY, the Canadian Government issued the names and a memo of the conversation your campaign had with them.

29.) I Am Tough On Terrorism - NOT EXACTLY, you missed the Iran Resolution vote on terrorism and your good friend Ali Abunimah supports the destruction off Israel.

30.) I Want All Votes To Count - NOT EXACTLY, you said let the delegates decide.

31.) I Want Americans To Decide - NOT EXACTLY, you prefer caucuses that limit the vote, confuse the voters, force a public vote, and only operate during small windows of time.

32.) I passed 900 Bills in the State Senate - NOT EXACTLY, you passed 26, most of which you didn't write yourself.

33.) I Believe In Fairness, Not Tactics - NOT EXACTLY, you used tactics to eliminate Alice Palmer from running against you in a Chicago alderman race.

34.) I Don't Take PAC Money - NOT EXACTLY, you take loads of it.

35.) I don't Have Lobbysists - NOT EXACTLY, you have over 47 lobbyists, and counting.

36.) My Campaign Had Nothing To Do With The 1984 Ad - NOT EXACTLY, your own campaign worker made the ad on his Apple in one afternoon.

37.) I Have Always Been Against Iraq - NOT EXACTLY, you weren't in office to vote against it AND you have voted to fund it every single time.

38.) I Have Always Supported Universal Health Care - NOT EXACTLY, your plan leaves us all to pay for the 15,000,000 (That's 15 Million) who don't have to buy it.

39.) My uncle liberated Auschwitz concentration camp - NOT EXACTLY, your mother had no brothers and the Russan army did the liberating. http://www.borderfirereport.net/jim-kouri/black-talk-host-says-obama-not-truthful-reveals-facts.html

Come on America! Don't vote for this lying Marxist!

Only NPR could turn a 10 point lead for McCain into a plus for Obama!

McCain Holds Lead With Rural Voters: Is It Enough?

A new survey of rural voters shows that Republican presidential hopeful John McCain has a 10-point lead among this key group. But 10 points in the nation's least populated and most remote places may not be enough to overcome Democrat Barack Obama's expected margins in the nation's cities.

The poll of 742 likely voters in rural counties in 13 tightly contested states has McCain ahead 51 percent to 41 percent.

"In this rural poll, you have McCain only winning by 10 points. That's a recipe for Obama winning this election," says Anna Greenberg, a Democratic pollster who was part of the bipartisan team that conducted the survey. "If you look at the national polls, Obama now has about an average of a two-point lead. Part of the reason that he has that lead is McCain isn't doing better in rural areas."
You do realize what they're saying here right? My translation... If you don't live in New York, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, etc, you're in flyover country and just don't count!

McCain leads Obama in Ohio and Florida

McCain-Palin takes the lead in Ohio:

McCain raises more money than Obama and takes the lead in Florida:

And here's something you won't hear about in the Old Lame Stream Media. According to Rasmussen, McCain has led in 9 of 11 polls conducted this year! This article goes on to say:
Both nationally and in Florida, polling suggests the race for the White House today is very similar to the final results for Election 2004. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows McCain with a very modest lead nationally, and his five-point edge in Florida matches President Bush’s margin of victory in the state four years ago.

The GOP nominee has a solid 56% to 40% edge among unaffiliated voters in the Sunshine State. He also leads 53% to 44% among men and 51% to 47% among women.

Voters trust McCain more than his opponent by a 52% to 43% margin. However, while over a third (34%) says they would be extremely comfortable with Obama as president, just 28% say that of McCain. Still, more voters (45%) are not at all comfortable with Obama in the White House as opposed to just 34% who feel that way about the Republican.

As for their running mates, 29% say they would be extremely comfortable with Democrat Joseph Biden as vice president, and 32% say that of Republican Sarah Palin. While 42% say they would not be at all comfortable with Palin as vice president, 45% say that of Biden.

He Must Be STOPPED!

Sarah Palin had a stunningly brilliant speech prepared for the Anti-Ahmadinejad rally in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza today. It's a crying shame she wasn't allowed to deliver it. The Democrat National Committee pressured the organizers into dis-inviting her with lies and threats against their tax-exempt status unless "equal" and opposite political representation was present but that is a damnable LIE! (Of course, since the Democrats control everything, they would have made sure that the tax-exempt status was at least "investigated")

The New York Sun has published the test of the speech...
I am honored to be with you and with leaders from across this great country —leaders from different faiths and political parties united in a single voice of outrage.

Tomorrow, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will come to New York — to the heart of what he calls the Great Satan — and speak freely in this, a country whose demise he has called for.

Ahmadinejad may choose his words carefully, but underneath all of the rhetoric is an agenda that threatens all who seek a safer and freer world. We gather here today to highlight the Iranian dictator's intentions and to call for action to thwart him.

He must be stopped.
It is powerful. Read it all.

Anti-Palin campaign appears to have been orchestrated by Obama Campaign

I heard about this on the Hugh Hewitt show this afternoon. He links to mypetjawa and hotair. This needs to be investigated now! And again later by the Federal Elections Commission to determine if any election laws were violated.
Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.

Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.

It is also likely that the PR firm was paid by outside sources to run the smear campaign. While not conclusive, evidence suggests a link to the Barack Obama campaign. Namely:
  • Evidence suggests that a YouTube video with false claims about Palin was uploaded and promoted by members of a professional PR firm.
  • The family that runs the PR firm has extensive ties to the Democratic Party, the netroots, and are staunch Obama supporters.
  • Evidence suggests that the firm engaged in a concerted effort to distribute the video in such a way that it would appear to have gone viral on its own. Yet this effort took place on company time.
  • Evidence suggests that these distribution efforts included actions by at least one employee of the firm who is unconnected with the family running the company.
  • The voice-over artist used in this supposedly amateur video is a professional.
  • This same voice-over artist has worked extensively with David Axelrod's firm, which has a history of engaging in phony grassroots efforts, otherwise known as "astroturfing."
  • David Axelrod is Barack Obama's chief media strategist.
  • The same voice-over artist has worked directly for the Barack Obama campaign.
This suggests that false rumors and outright lies about Sarah Palin and John McCain being spread on the internet are being orchestrated by political partisans and are not an organic grassroots phenomenon led by the left wing fringe. Our findings follow.
This is explosive people!

Absolutely hilarious video!

oh my. I really do want to be more positive but this is absolutely hilarious! Especially the cartoon inserts! Version two is even better!

Ms. Underestimated found it and has a new favorite Youtube channel and indeed, there is much humor to be had there!

Plus, let's not forget that he LIED! The numbers of abortions have gone down.

Sharp as a bowling ball indeed!

UPDATE! Entire Country now RED in the AOL Straw Poll!

60,000 people attend Sarah Palin rally!

That's right, while only twenty thousand people showed up to see the Marxist at the top of the Democrat ticket, sixty thousand showed up to see the Republican VP nominee, Sarah Palin!

And this in a community of only seventy-five thousand!
Palin T-shirts, buttons and hats - most of them making reference to lipstick, pit bulls, hockey or some combination of those elements - were everywhere. There were also people wearing McCain items, but usually with Palin's name on them somewhere.

Deborah Abriola came from Orlando and wore a button that said "Don't Let The Lipstick Fool You - Pitbulls for McCain-Palin" because she said she feels kinship with Palin as a fellow "lipstick mom."

...Abriola described herself as a conservative Democrat who sees Palin as a role model for mothers.

Her friend, Cheryl LeDuc, said she's a Republican but wants to see a shakeup in the GOP. She said Palin "is conservative and she's going to clean up Washington, including the Republicans."
The phenomenon that is Sarah Palin is taking this country by storm! Not that you'll hear that in the Old Lame Stream Media!

The makings of a Landslide

New straw poll on AOL show McCain-Palin up 62% to 38%. Please, go vote! Turn the entire map RED for McCain-Palin!

More Moslem endorsements for Obama

Why Islamists Cheer for Obama at The American Thinker By Vasko Kohlmayer

On April 13 of this year, Ahmed Yousef, a public relations man for the terrorist organization Hamas, said in an interview: "We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election." He then gave the reason for Hamas' support: "He has a vision to change America."

Earlier this month, Libya's strongman Muammar Khadafi gave an endorsement speech in which he called Barack Obama a "brother" and expressed his hope that he will "change America from evil to good and that America will establish relations that will serve it well with other people, especially the Arabs." He also said:

[A]ll the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American Presidency.

The Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan gushed "this young man [Obama] is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better." He went on to say that Obama "could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall." In another appearance, Farrakhan stated that he "represents hope that the United States will change for the better."

Prominent Egyptian journalist Yasser Khalil wrote recently "Barack Obama represents a phenomenon that has drawn global attention and captivated the minds of Muslims around the world." He noted that "this level of support for an American presidential candidate is unprecedented in the Muslim world" and observed that "large segments of the Muslim population here remain fascinated with the election and have become big fans of Senator Obama."
...
What attracts Islamists to Obama is not that they necessarily see him as a covert co-religionist, but their sense that his worldview -- and especially his view of America -- corresponds with their own.
...

And then we were treated to those wonderful videos of Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright. The man who led Obama from an "aimless young man" to a "born again experience". More like nurtured his hatred of half his own heritage and his own country. And there was Michelle pushing him in that direction too but that's a topic for another posting.

The videos sent shockwaves not only throughout this country, but also around the world that was closely watching America's historic election. And even though most clear-thinking people were revolted, one group reacted with glee. That group was the Islamists, particularly those of radical stripe, for in Wright's invective they heard a view of America that was their own.

Like Obama's role model, radical Islamists also believe that America is an unjust, murderous and oppressive regime that exploits at home and murders abroad. They also agree with Wright that the attacks of 9/11 were a deserved punishment for all the evils the United States has perpetrated around the globe. And what could better sum up their feelings toward this country than Wright's booming "God damn America!"

Islamists must have greatly relished the fervor and eloquence with which the mentor of a major presidential candidate denounced the United States. The whole spectacle no doubt struck a familiar chord, for Wright's preaching -- with his virulent invective against the United States -- was closer in content and tenor to what they hear in a Saudi mosque than what is usually on offer in an average church in America's Bible belt.

But even as radical Islamists rejoiced, Obama had a major crisis on his hands. It turned out to be the most serious crisis of his political career and one that nearly sank his presidential hopes. Initially Obama argued that Wright's statements were taken out of context and played in a loop for heightened effect. But when it was discovered that there was more, Obama took a different line. He claimed that he had personally never heard Wright speak like this and that he knew nothing of his father figure's virulent anti-Americanism.

This is obviously a lie and an egregious one at that. Whatever can be said about Barack Obama, he is not stupid. A Harvard-educated lawyer, he has repeatedly shown intelligence and shrewdness during his meteoric rise to national prominence. It is completely unbelievable he would not know about the belief system of the person who was his confidant for nearly 20 years. After all, Wright did not even try to conceal his views, but propounded them openly from the pulpit of his church. Yet Obama wants us to believe that he was the only one in that congregation who knew nothing of Wright's disdain for his country.

Obama's assertion that the two never discussed politics is another bald-faced lie. We can be fairly certain that politics was a frequent subject of their discussions, since both Obama and Wright are consummately political creatures. Barack Obama is, of course, a professional politician. Jeremiah Wright is a political activist in a religious garb.

The real question is not whether Obama knew about his pastor's anti-Americanism, but to what extent he shares it. And there is every reason to believe that he shared most if not all of it.

To see why, you only need to ask yourself a few questions: Would you hold up a man as your father figure if you did not also identify with his worldview? Would you pinpoint him as the person who had the greatest influence on your life? Would you keep him on a role model and mentor?
...
If any other candidate were caught in a similar situation, he or she would have been forced out of politics in disgrace. The same media that hounded Sarah Palin's old pastors deliberately overlooked a cleric who told them that his protégé shared his hatred of America. This failure to expose a major presidential candidate for the anti-American radical he is will surely go down in history as one of the most egregious cases of media malpractice. Had it not been for the media-led cover up, Barack Obama would have been by now only an embarrassing footnote in the annals of American presidential politics.

This brings us back to the Islamists. Unlike the willfully blind media, they can see very well what Barack Obama is all about, which is why they are so excited about the prospect of his presidency. Their enthusiasm is easy to understand, since nothing could advance their cause more than a man at the top of the American government whose views of America correspond with their own. To Islamists, Obama's victory would truly seem like a godsend.

We often refuse to say or even think truth, because truth can be ugly and disturbing. But the facts in this case speak for themselves, and we must face them squarely. If we fail, sooner or later there will be a price to pay. That price could be very steep, for Barack Obama and his associates would inflict -- if given the opportunity -- serious harm on the country they disdain. Islamists and all those who hate America see this clearly and rejoice at the prospect.

We will leave those who are still hesitant with one last question. Can you find a single instance outside the campaign trail in which Barack Obama or any of his closest associates have said anything good or complimentary about their country?

In their moments of frankness, those closest to Barack Obama -- from his role model Jeremiah Wright through unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers to his own wife -- articulate contempt for America far more than love and appreciation for its virtues.

Think about that as you listen to Wright's blistering denunciations of the United States and the cheering of Islamic extremists as they contemplate the prospect of a President Barack Obama, a man they call their brother and friend.

Electoral Suicide by Democrats ala Joe Biden

LOL! I love this! Joe Biden ans his "notoriously undisciplined mouth" has committed "electoral suicide". Good! More please!

...on September 11 this blog reported a mounting backlash from Catholic bishops against Biden, Barack Obama's "Catholic" pro-abortion running mate. At that time I estimated eight bishops had come out to denounce Biden; the total is now 55. Beyond that, Biden is being trashed across every state of the Union by Catholic newspapers, TV and radio stations, and blogs. It is a tsunami of rejection.
...

Archbishop Chaput of Denver had already announced Biden should not receive communion because of his pro-abortion views. Defiantly, Biden took communion in his home parish in Delaware in late August. On September 2 the Bishop of Scranton, Pennsylvania (a crucial swing state) banned him from communion in his diocese. That is effective excommunication. Then came the crucial provocation. On NBC's Meet the Press programme on September 7 Biden grossly misrepresented the Catholic Church's teaching on abortion and audaciously cited St Thomas Aquinas in his own cause.

That did it. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had already done the same thing on the same programme, in her instance citing St Augustine. Even the torpid US bishops could not have false doctrine glibly broadcast by public figures, misleading their flock. So the counterattack described here last week began, culminating in a statement from the US Bishops' Conference. The bishops of Kansas City have also issued a pastoral letter on the subject. It is open season on Biden.

There are 47 million Catholic voters in the United States. One quarter of all registered voters are Catholics. At every presidential election in the past 30 years the Catholic vote has gone to the winning candidate, except for Al Gore in 2000. This year 41 per cent of Catholics are independents - up from 30 per cent in 2004. Psephologists claim practising Catholics were the decisive factor in the crucial swing states in 2004: in Ohio 65 per cent of Catholics voted for Bush, in Florida 66 per cent. They were drifting away in disillusionment from the Republicans and split 50-50, until Joe Biden worked his magic. This is electoral suicide by the Democrats.

Do the right thing my Catholic friends! Send this pair packing!

HUBRIS???

So Charles Gibson actually thinks that Sarah Palin not hesitating to say "yes" when John McCain asked her to be his Vice Presidential running mate is "hubris".

How about this for hubris:
Katie Couric (to Obama): “Do you ever doubt yourself?”

Obama: “Never.”

Someone who never doubts themselves has a serious personality disorder.

Hubris they name is BarryHO. Hubris they name is Lame Stream Media / Old Media. May you both fade away and live in quiet obcurity for the rest of your earthly existance.

Update on Todd Palin

The pundits are finally catching on!

I heard an ad on FoxNews that Greta will be doing a two parter on Todd Palin Monday and Tuesday. Gee, do you think she's one of my three readers???

Tom Purcell at The Cable Post seems to get it too!

Palin's husband is also what feminists have been asking for. He works part time to support her career and nurture the kids -- yet he's masculine and self-assured (Alaskans call him the "First Dude.")

There's a bunch of other stuff in that article about Todd's wife Sarah too (LOL!) and how feminazis have suddenly changed their tune about what a woman can and can't do. Be sure to check out the Hockey Mom to the Rescue at the bottom of that article! Perfect!

Anyway, SEE? I told ya!
Todd Palin is a stud muffin! Get him out there in front of the shallow liberal women voters. One wiff of all that testosterone and they'll swoon, forget all about that Marxist BarryHO, and vote for McCain/Palin!

Dear Mr. Obama

Dear Mr. Obama,

Having spent 12 months in the Iraq theatre, I could promise you this was not a mistake.

I've witnessed first hand the many sacrifices made for the people of Iraq. Those sacrifices were not mistakes.

The Iraqi people are just like us. They want a chance to live in a secure world. Free from tyranny. Free from terrorism. Free to prosper. Free to raise their children and pass on a future.

Are they better off today than they were in 2002? You bet.

I've seen many men sacrifice their lives for the Iraqi people. They died for a purpose. Not a mistake. They died giving hope. They died promoting freedom.

Do you rescue a fireman just as he's about to save a child?

When you call the Iraqi war a mistake you disrepect the service and the sacrifice of everyone who has died promoting freedom.

Freedom carries with it a price.

Because you do not understand nor appreciate these principles, sir, I'm supporting Senator John McCain for President. He too made a huge sacrifice promoting freedom. Because he understands the fundamental truth ...

Freedom is always worth the price.

And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free...

Now THAT is the sort of thing that should send tingles up your spine (or, if you're Chris Matthews, tingles up your leg) not that marxist BarryHO.

Rasmussen September 2008 Electoral College Update

Well, well, well. Guess that election isn't all locked up for the giant Zero (aka BarryHO) after all.

Keep talking BarryHO. Refer to Palin as a pig, McCain as an old fish, then to Palin as a monkey and McCain as the organ grinder. Keep talking! You're sending 'em to our side in droves!

(My Congressman) Shadegg Leads Trip to ANWR

My Congressman, John Shadegg went to Alask with a group of House Members to visit ANWR. Well, it's about time! Good on ya Congressman Shadegg! I'm still bursting with pride over you standing up to SanFranNan!

Maybe, just maybe, with soon-to-be Vice President Palin can convince soon-to-be President McCain that drilling in ANWR would be a good thing - and the moose love it! (Speaking of Palin, did I mention her husband is a studmuffin??! Well, I did at about 4:55pm MST on the Hugh Hewitt, the smartest man on the air today, show this afternoon!)

Shadegg Leads Trip to ANWR

“I’m looking forward to speaking with Alaskans and hearing the ways in which increased development will impact their quality of life.”

Washington, Aug 18 - This week, Congressman John Shadegg (R-AZ) will lead a group of House Members on a visit to Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The three day educational tour of the area will focus on the energy resources available, the environmental surroundings in the region, and local perspectives on increased production and development.

“I’m looking forward to speaking with Alaskans and hearing the ways in which increased development will impact their quality of life. Our group will also have an opportunity to learn more about the evolution of technology since development began in Prudhoe Bay.

Energy is a critical issue on which Congress must make better-informed policy decisions. That’s why I am taking this opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the situation on the ground in ANWR and to learn about the effects of development. We can, and should, access our domestic resources in an ecologically responsible manner. More American-made energy won’t just bring down current energy prices, it will create jobs and put more money back into the American economy, enabling investment in the alternative sources of energy that will power this nation in the future.”

Racist, Supremacist, Anti-Semetic, Seditionist, Seperatist, Seccessionist Homophobe endorses Barack Obama!!!

Armando Navarro, racist bigot UC Riverside professor who advocates for the hostile and violent takeover of the Southwestern United States in order to return it to Mexico, endorses Obama!

Citizens of California, you are paying the salary of this racist professor at the University of California Riverside What are you thinking?? "His areas of teaching specialization include Mexicano/Latino politics, social movements, American politics, and contemporary issues." Social Movements is code for communism / marxism! UCR, fire this racist!

This seccessionist even met with Venezuelan thug-in-chief Hugo Chavez earlier this year in an effort to obtain Venezuelan support for U.S immigration reform. Not sure how he thinks Venezuela could possibly influence immigration laws in the USA.

New West Side Economic Development, A community development agency in Denver, awarded him Civil Rights Award. “The Cinco de Mayo Civil Rights Awards offer thanks to those who have tirelessly served the cause of civil rights,” said LeRoy Lemos, director of the event. He said Prof. Navarro stood out because he builds a bridge between theory and practice, and he helped organize recent demonstrations demanding justice for undocumented immigrants. Oh, he's another community organizer.

I hope Obama is proud of his endorsements from racist freaks the world over... Qahdafi, Hugo Chavez, Armando Navarro along with the leaders of Iran and Syria.

Poll shows big shift to McCain among white women

And that's just one demographic! Sarah Palin is everyone. Her family is every American family. They are NORMAL! Not leftwing freaks who would kill their own child because it was imperfect (Down's syndrom babies are being aborted out of existence while it would be better to find a prevention, Dems just kill 'em all).
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain has gained huge support among white women since naming Sarah Palin as his running mate and now leads Democrat Barack Obama among those voters, according to a survey published on Tuesday.

The Washington Post/ABC News poll found that much of McCain's surge in the polls since the Republican National Convention is attributable to the shift in support among white women.
The race for the White House is now a virtual tie, with Obama at 47 percent support of registered voters and McCain at 46 percent, the poll found.

Before the Democratic National Convention in late August, Obama held an 8 percentage point lead among white women voters, 50 percent to 42 percent, but after the Republican convention in early September, McCain was ahead by 12 points among white women, 53 percent to 41 percent, the poll found.

Asked about the findings during a briefing on Monday before the poll was published, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe told a Washington Post reporter, "Well, your poll is wrong." "I don't think you'll find many others that back up a 20-point reversal," Plouffe said during the briefing at Obama's campaign headquarters in Chicago. "We certainly are not seeing any movement like that. Polls, time to time, particularly on the demographic stuff, can have some pretty wild swings."
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAH! Take that leftwing weirdos!

Where is Mr. Palin?

The other day I heard an allegation that the media is cropping Mr. Todd Palin out of photos of his wife, Sarah Palin, VP candidate on the Repulican ticket. And I know why (more on that later). While the allegation did not surprise me, I doubted that it was true at the time. So I went looking for photos with both Mr. & Mrs. Palin. I was actually quite surprised by the lack of recent photos which included Todd Palin. The majority of those found that do include Alaska's first dude are at Zimbio.

Now, why would the leftie dominated lame stream media want to avoid pictures of Todd Palin? Well, have you seen the man? He's a stud-muffin! Hunkorama! They're afraid that their shallow women would jump on the McCain-Palin ship! LOL

So, my advice to the McCain-Palin campaign is get that man out there! Let them hear how he loves his wife and children; how he chose to stay home and take a more active role in raising those children when his wife became Governor of Alaska; how he is a four time snowmachine champion (did i mention the man's a stud??!!).
Sarah Palin is everywoman. And Todd Palin is everyman! They are the quintessential American couple with the a perfectly typical family including challenges that 600,000 families face every year in this country (teen pregnancy). The Demos think these things mean we won't vote for McCain-Palin. The reality is that we are far more likely to vote McCain-Palin knowing that the Palin family is so much like the rest of us.

Update Monday September 9, 2008 - At the end of the first hour of the Laura Ingraham show, Laura was quoting what a friend of hers said and it was (paraphrasing), "there's all this talk about how good looking Sarah Palin is. ... Todd Palin is hot!"

LOL! Kirls was ahead of the curve 'cuz I was at work at 5:30am Thursday after Sarah's speech at the RNC going on about what a real man's man Todd Palin is. Again, get that man out there in front of those loonie leftie liberal / socialist women! They won't be able to resist!

McCain/Palin up by 19% in Arizona!

I just phoned the Arizona Republican Party HQ about yard signs and buttons and such. They have none! With McCain/Palin up by 19% in Arizona, it doesn't make sense to have campaign paraphernalia here. Send it all the battleground states!

woohoo!

Take that lefties, Obamunists, and other freaks and weirdos!

One more reason Palin was a great choice!

I heisted this image from Mere Rhetoric which has a nice interview showing Governor Palin to be quite friendly and approachable. You know, a normal person just like us.

Anyway, can you see it? Just over Governor Palin's shoulder? Totally awesome and appropriate!
